Performs a variety of complex and routine accounting functions in support of the Corporation's accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Must be proficient in working with a variety of office machines including 10-key, xerox, teletype, etc.
  • Ability to type at least 40 wpm. A minimum of 3 years experience as a bookkeeper, high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with computers.


  • Essential Functions:
  • To set up invoices for payment and have checks cut accordingly.
  • To reconcile vendor accounts and statements.
  • To perform month end reconciliations on assigned general ledger accounts.
  • Prepares and distributes year-end 1099's.
  • To proof vendor listings and 1099 information for correctness.
  • To cross train in other duties for back-up in the office.
  • To assist in annual audit as needed.
