DESCRIPTION

Accurately maintains accounts receivable for Independent and Assisted Living including billing, collections, and reconciling. Follows generally accepted accounting principles and Mease Manor policy and procedures. Demonstrates excellent customer service to residents and/or family members.

DUTIES

  • Assists with preparing invoices for residents (i.e., data entry, printing, distribution, etc.)
  • Processes and verifies all payments received, posts cash receipts; applies credit to resident accounts.
  • Assists in preparing financial statements or reports as needed.
  • Processes month end closing and balancing resident accounts.
  • Enters new membership fees and deposits.
  • Assists sales department for financial tracking of memberships and deposits.
  • Maintains petty cash and reconciles monthly.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service to residents and/or family members.
  • Works in conjunction with the finance department for the annual audit.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma required; associates degree preferred.
  • Three years experience in accounting required.
