Primary Function:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk process balances for customers and collect past due balances. The Accounts Receivable Clerk works with sales representatives and customer service to provide information to Cook customers.

Essential Job Funtions/ Duties:
• Maintain customers accounts receivable balances
• Effectively communicate with customers to rectify outstanding past due balances
• Collaborate with other Cook Group companies to resolve billing or pricing issues
• Communicate by phone or e-mail to assist customers with questions or concerns regarding their bills
• Offer solutions to resolve billing concerns
• Must be able to multi-task and remain flexible when priorities arise
• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others
throughout various levels of the global organization to achieve company
• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
• Must have effective oral and written communications throughout various
levels of the global organization
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and
independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
• Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations

Minimum Work Experience/ Educational Requirments:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Associates degree preferred
• Prior experience in a customer service field preferred
• Experience with MicroSoft Office products, including Excel, Word and Outlook

Physical Requirments/ Work Environment:
• General office environment
• Sitting for extended periods
• Requires close visual acuity when working with computers, etc.
