An Accounting Clerk with Doubletree by Hilton is responsible for responding to guest inquiries and requests and resolving guest billing disputes in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?
As an Accounting Clerk, you would be responsible for responding to guest inquiries and request and resolving guest billing disputes in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
Prepare daily receivables from event contracts, post in system and balance totals to general ledger
Responsible for handling all questions and concerns related to City Ledger charges, conduct thorough research to develop the most effective solution and negotiate results. Listen and extend assistance in order to resolve problems.
Review all final statements with sales contracts for accuracy. Make the necessary corrections and mail to the customer every 3 to 5 business days.
Answer guest service calls, contact guests via telephone, complete telephone request forms and send correspondence/folios to guests (e-mail, facsimile, mail, etc.)
Assist in resolving outstanding balances gathering the appropriate backup needed.
File and store City Ledger information on a regular basis (i.e. daily, weekly, monthly)
Assist office in any other administrative duties as needed
Perform any duties and asked by the Director of Finance based upon department needs
The starting pay for this position is $12.50 per hour
Finance and Hotel Accounts Receivable experience preferred
OnQ Property Management System preferred
