The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for p erforming a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties according to established policies and procedures.
Generates accounting statements and reports. Researches cash receipts, coding and posting of receipts. Researches and applies unallocated cash. Oversees client trust accounts, accounts receivable write-offs and payment reversals. Develops automated spreadsheets. Organizes and maintains up to date financial records. Provides monthly financial and management reports. Maintains telephone and personal contact with staff and vendors on receivable matters as directed by manager. Reads, uses and is familiar with computer systems manuals and procedures, maintains and updates procedural manuals as needed. Assists in financial management and analysis, as requested. Organizes and maintains retention files for required period of time.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience. A minimum of 1-2 years of applicable experience is required. Strong analytical skills. Strong people management skills. Knowledge of MS Office software Word and Excel. Exceptional interpersonal skills required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. Must be at least 18 years old. Must be able to work 40 hours per week. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day and/or evening hours. Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future. Proficiency in English and Spanish.
