Windy Hill Contracting, Inc., Brandy Station, VA, is a woman-owned small business in search of an Acquisition Analyst to provide on-site support to a DoD customer in Falls Church, VA. Windy Hill Contracting has had continuous contracts supporting DoD agencies for the past 10 years and its principal owner and president has nearly 30 years in federal acquisition experience.
Duties to include:
Assist the PMs/CORs in the writing, research and development of requirements documents.
Provide programmatic guidance to internal/external customers and attend various meetings as subject matter expert .
Maintain data such as working contract files, acquisition documents, contract logs, awarded contract documentation and other supporting information in an accessible but secure manner.
Assist the program manager in accomplishing market research using established methods and techniques to perform research analysis, develop surveys, evaluate and establish strategies to identify customer needs, potential sources and estimated prices/costs.
Prepare and process acquisition documentation, including, for example, performance work statements, technical evaluation criteria, cost estimates, market research reports, quality assurance surveillance plans, requirements authorization documents, funding documentation work sheets, and other documents appropriate for a specific requirement. Also must have experience in prerparing briefings, meeting minutes, reports and agendas, which requires skill in Microsoft Office software.
Must be proficient in the application of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and other regulatory documents within the federal acquisition field.
Provide analytic work in support of business improvement and reengineering activities, including organizational development and process modernization.
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree
Five years of experience in acquisition, purchasing and procurement of DoD supplies and services. Previous GS-1102 experience is a plus in this position, but not a requirement.
Five years experience with and knowledge of the FAR.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Software.
Must be an American citizen and able to secure a favorable NACI clearance.
