Activation Assistant- Job Description-OMG Direct
Reports into the Activation Specialist and Media Operations Manager
An entry level position providing primary support to the Activation Specialist and Media Operations Manager with traffic, telemarketing, CORE administration and other related duties.
Daily tasks will include :
Coordinate, input and distribute traffic tapes and instructions to local and cable stations.
Monitor daily Sigma feeds and contact stations when spots air incorrectly.
Input daily and weekly telemarketing files and review file inputs for accuracy.
Daily and/or weekly communication with creative agencies, dub facilities and stations.
Develop knowledge and understanding with regards to traffic procedures, technical specifications of broadcast technologies, Direct Response metrics and the CORE application.
Troubleshoot with stations when traffic discrepancies occur.
Assist in maintaining media operation documents.
Strong computer skills with a focus on Excel.
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Traffic or media experience is a plus but not required.
