The Active Directory Analyst will be responsible for the design, build-out and tier 3 / tier 4 support of GE’s Active Directory environment. The analyst will work on projects including domain & forest consolidations, internal & external identity management initiatives and deploying & integrating PKI solutions with Active Directory.
Participate on global, cross-business teams to provide solutions leveraging Active Directory and Windows authentication solutions
Build AD environments in compliance with all legal, regulatory and internal policies and standards
Ensure compliance of AD solutions by participating in the identification of compliance data, data collection, analysis and remediation
Develop multi-generation project plans and roadmaps within the program space
Responsible for managing appropriate resources as necessary
Manages schedules and plans to ensure timely completion of project deadlines
Partners with other AD, security, business and application architects to understand business problems and opportunities and provide solutions leveraging Active Directory
Coordinates communications with internal and external teams
Provides issue resolution and L4 support as required
Ensures successful transition of project deliverables to support / maintenance / operations teams
Drive change and lead business adoption for standardized Active Directory services
Minimum 5 years of experience implementing Active Directory services and Windows authentication solutions
Minimum 2 years of experience designing Active Directory environments (i.e. forests, domains, OUs, etc.)
Minimum 2 years of experience with Identity and Access Management technologies
Minimum 1 year of project management experience leading technical initiatives

4 year degree in Computer Science, other technical field (or a minimum 4 years of IT experience preferred
Minimum 2 years of broader IT experience in a field such as application development, infrastructure management, or related fields in addition to experience in Security technologies
Microsoft Certification (MCSE, MCITP)
Experience with Smart Card and PKI solutions
Experience with meta directory and identity management technologies
Demonstrated experience leading Active Directory consolidation efforts for distributed organizations
Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities
Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships and creates processes with customer viewpoint
Strong analytical skills – strong problem solving skills, communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve
Change oriented – actively generates process improvements; supports and drives change, and confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways
Experience with ITIL v3
