DUTIES

Responsible for the day-to-day activity for assigned clients. Also, responsible for all technical work required for each assigned actuarial client. Requires a strong work ethic, strong initiative, and ability to work independently.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-3 years of relevant benefits experience
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's degree is a plus)
  • Minimum of 1 actuarial exam (more than one is a plus)
  • Strong technical skills, previous IRS funding valuations, (calculations required under PPA, funding, and accounting rules preferred), preparing government forms, valuation data preparation, etc.
  • Ability to manage own workflow
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be motivated with strong oral and written communication skills
  • Pursuing actuarial exams with goal of becoming an EA or ASA
  • Strong team player
