The Monetization Solutions Manager will build and lead the creation of monetization solutions within the Advertising Business Unit at Velti. This includes working with the management team to set go-to-market strategy and arm global sales organizations to successfully sell the Mobclix family of advertising and virtual goods payment solutions within the industry. Solution Marketing is responsible for packaging of offerings, creation of sales materials and inter-organizational communications and coordination.

This role must work effectively with other Velti internal groups both within and outside of the Advertising Business Unit including global marketing, product development, operations and client facing teams. In addition to strong writing, visual and analytical skills, the candidate must have demonstrated experience in the advertising technology industry – ideally with a media exchange or sell-side platform company.

Specific responsibilities include:
Contribution global go-to-market planning including yearly business goals, product marketing strategies, budgeting and organization structuring and staffing
Support country and territory solution marketing and communication strategy
Integration and communication of product roadmaps provided by the product teams
Crafting and communication of positioning and messaging platforms
Providing content for global marketing initiatives such as the Web site, collateral and demand generation campaigns
Building of solution and product messaging for use in global marketing, sales presentations, thought leadership and management communications
Coordination of market and competitive research
Serve as a conduit between the business unit and product development in order to communicate and prioritize product, sales and customer needs
Contribute to solution “merchandising” process and tools including support of RFP responses, presentation decks and other selling material

Specific job requirements include:
Minimum of 5 years of increasing responsibility in sales and marketing roles
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the advertising, media or mobile industry required
Working knowledge of and experience with marketing strategy, product marketing, offering creation and communication
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Ability to formulate integrated marketing plans and manage program budgets
Ability to clearly articulate the company’s image and business value to both internal and external audiences
Possesses high sense of urgency and strong desire for excellence
Excellent writing, visual andpresentation/communications skills
Proven success in marketing roles requiring extensive interaction working cross-functionally in a fast-paced,highly dynamic environment.
Communication – ability to clearly and simply articulate ideas, framing problems and solutions.
Change management - demonstrated ability to drive organizational change
Minimum Bachelor's Degree with advanced degree preferred (e.g. MBA, MA)
