The SmugglersÂ’ Notch Adaptive Program, SNAP, is seeking fun and energetic people to work with individuals with special needs. Instructors provide ski lessons to people of all abilities using adaptive equipment when applicable. Many students require one-on-one coaching, while some are integrated into other snow sport groups through our inclusion program. This position requires both on and off snow time with guests, both adults and children. The SNAP program is also seeking individuals that have experience with the BI and/or MONO ski equipment. Wage is determined by certification and relative experience. Full-time and part-time positions available. Candidates must be 18 years or older to apply. Responsibilities include being able to ski comfortably and in control on groomed black or ungroomed blue terrain, possess a passion for teaching skiing and working with persons with disabilities, own ski equipment or are able to purchase by completion of training (must pass binding inspection), and own professional-looking, solid black snow pants or able to obtain by end of training. Must be able to commit to an approved calendar to include holiday periods, weekends or other busy times and have reliable transportation.
