Adjunct Distant Education Instructor/Developer University of Oregon -

The American English Institute (AEI) at the University of Oregon (UO) is looking for qualified candidates for possible adjunct instructor positions in the online Distance Education (DE) or “E-Learning” Program for the 2012-2013 academic year. Positions are part or full-time, limited duration appointments subject to possible renewal for up to three years, depending on need, funding and performance. Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis, and interviews will be conducted as positions become available.
Applicants must possess a minimum of the following qualifications:
Masters degree or higher.
Experience teaching and/or developing electronic materials related to Applied Linguistics/TESOL, Computer Science, Educational Technology or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to develop and adapt electronic materials to meet students' needs.
Proficiency using technology in instructional activities.
Ability to work collaboratively as a member of an instructional team and faculty committee(s).
Proficiency in English. Hiring may be contingent upon English proficiency assessment.
Candidates with experience serving the needs of diverse populations are strongly desired.
