The College of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University is seeking a full-time Adjunct Instructor to conduct a combination of diagnostic service, research, and teaching in the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (VDL) within the Department of Veterinary Diagnostic and Production Animal Medicine (VDPAM).
The successful candidate will develop expertise coordinating pathology cases in the VDL and will also assist in teaching 4th year veterinary students in diagnostic medicine.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent degree, and at least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting directly related to food supply veterinary medicine.
- Experience working in a progressive food animal veterinary practice.
- Experience using and interpreting diagnostic assays in a production setting.
