Adjunct faculty are employed to provide specific courses on an as-needed basis. Contracts for adjunct faculty members are issued on a semester/term basis. Adjunct instructors hold the responsibility for the management of courses taught. Adjunct instructors are expected to be available for a reasonable amount of time for each course taught to counsel students regarding course work.
1. Candidates for undergraduate positions must possess a Master's Degree in the teaching discipline, or have a Master's Degree in any business discipline and 18 graduate semester hours (30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
2. Candidates for graduate positions must hold a terminal degree (Ph.D., JD or DBA) in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution holding either the SCBSP or AACSB accreditation.
