We are looking for an indivudual to help in the supervision of our outstanding Adjustments department.
Monitor Adjuster communication with members to improve Service Quality and Permanent Corrective Action. Understands, coaches, and ensures compliance with laws and regulations including Fair Debt Collection Practices, GLBA, and NCUA are maintained. Creates and maintains a professional work environment geared toward performance and production. Supports and leads the team toward success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Promotes a positive and professional environment based on ICCU’s core values.
Answers or refers procedural questions from Adjuster's.
Tracks and provides coaching based on performance and production.
Completes and executes performance evaluations.
Sets short-term and long-term goals and motivates the team to achieve them.
Responsible for assisting with, supporting and completing duties and responsibilities of Adjustment Officers.
Identify process bottlenecks and inefficiencies and recommend and implements solutions.
Train and assist others in the department with questions.
Recommend extensions, interest rate reductions, alternate payments and settlements.
Analyze delinquency reports and work loss/deficiency accounts.
Analyze losses and recommend appropriate responses in.
Promote and Coach Permanent Corrective Action.
Correspond with Attorneys, Collection Agencies, State and Federal Courts, Recovery Agents and Law Enforcement Agencies.
Process Consumer Credit Counseling Service proposals.
Assist in placing and collecting CPI insurance.
Promote and market the ICCU in a positive manner.
Manage, support and process Bankruptcies, Foreclosures, and Repossessions.
Other duties as assigned.
Undergraduate College Degree. Excellent communication and interviewing skills. Proficient on computer, typing and input. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of the Credit Union and member records at all times. Basic business math and English skills. Proficient in fundamentals of collection, phone etiquette, letter writing, credit report analysis, basic personal finance skills including, budgeting, risk analysis and loan to value calculations. Must be goal focused, self-motivated and have good management/inter-personal skills.
