Formed by the merger of Arden Hill Hospital and Horton Medical Center, Orange Regional is licensed for 383 beds and employs over 2,500 healthcare professionals including over 600 doctors. Orange Regional Medical Center has consolidated two existing campuses onto a single site in Middletown, New York. This completed facility is the first new freestanding hospital built in the State of New York since 1989 and is the largest medical center between the Tappan Zee Bridge and Albany.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the VP of Finance/CFO, the Revenue Cycle Administrator directs and oversees the policies, objectives, and initiatives related to revenue cycle management for the Greater Hudson Valley Health System. The Administrator works with all involved departments on process improvement to result in a more efficient and productive revenue cycle. S/he reviews, designs and implements processes surrounding credentialing of providers, coding, pricing, billing, third party payer relationships, and collections and management of accounts receivable to ensure that the revenue cycle is optimized. S/he will oversee and lead the Revenue Cycle team through coaching, mentoring and developing target performance measures; holding managers responsible for achieving targets. S/he will collaborate with clinical departments and other operational areas to ensure efficiency of services, delivery of optimal customer service, compliance with local, state and federal regulations, regulatory agencies and generally accepted accounting principles.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education:
BA/BS in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field required; MBA preferred.

Minimum Experience:
Minimum ten (10) years progressively responsible experience required in related field, including seven (7) years as a director or administrative manager with oversight of multiple departments required. Extensive knowledge of entire revenue cycle including revenue coding – UB, CPT and ICD, third party billing and denial management, credit and collection including managing outsourced collection agencies, other charge master items and optimization, specialized governmental billing rules, commercial contract reimbursement and pro-ration, and accounts receivable valuation for financial statements. EPIC financials highly desired, together with strong analytics using Excel and other tools. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, direct and control a broad functional areas.
