As a registered professional nurse, under the direction of AVP/Nurse and CNO,, is accountable for the administrative coordination of all patient care services division activities which take place during the assigned tour of duty in the Mgr/Director''s absence. Also responsible for staffing and day-to-day Hospital Opns. After business hours and on all shifts during weekends and holidays, the Administrative Supv. is responsible for overall supervision of the operating of the entire hospital during the assigned shift. All unusual events/problems are to be reported to the Adm Supv on call for final evaluations and/or resolution. 2 or more years experience, including supervisory, in a variety of nursing positions which provide detailed knowledge of the activities of the nursing department; posess the knowledge and skill in utlizing management principles and methods; demonstrated problem solving ability.
Current RN Licensure in the state of Illinois required
CPR, BLS, and ACLS Certifications
3 years of House Supervisor experience
2 days an/or 2 weekend days as required per week to meet unit needs
