R14: 680.80 - 931.70 weekly DOE. M-F 8am to 4pm
Supports Delvalle Training Institute staff to ensure efficient operation of day-to-day operations.
Support staff in all aspects of administration of the institute, including arranging and managing requests for use of physical space for Institute courses.
Manage materials orders, including textbooks, job aids, videos, and other course materials.
Assist Director and other staff in budgetary matters, including expense tracking and reporting, interaction with Boston EMS Administration and Finance, and BPHC Administration and Finance.
Track equipment usage requests, usage, and return, including electronic equipment and other instructional materials.
Assist Institute staff in communications needs, such as advertising courses and notifying the community of opportunities for training, answering general information inquiries and directing participant and interested parties to appropriate resources. May supervise staff.
Core competencies include, among others, the ability to: describe the agency role and chain of command in emergency response; demonstrate her/his role in regular drills; and recognize deviations from the norm that might indicate an emergency and take/ facilitate appropriate action(s) such as communicating clearly within the chain of command.
Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required.
A Bachelor’s degree or some college strongly preferred.
Knowledge of the types and applications of standard office/business filing and recordkeeping systems and of clerical office/business practices is required.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
Ability to produce accurate work rapidly, to check and verify information, and complete assignments independently required.
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills are required, as is the ability to work collaboratively with others
Strong organizational skills are required as are highly developed conceptual and analytical skills.
This position requires direct client/patient contact and as a result of such direct contact, certain immunizations will be recommended and/or required prior to commencement of employment duties.
A Criminal Offenders Records Information request must be completed for this position. However, a record is not an automatic bar to employment but is reviewed in relation to the job applied for.
Boston Residency Required, or willingness to relocate.
