ChildFund International is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide support for a 12 person marketing department. This is an excellent entry level position for a candidate interested in a career in marketing, as s/he will assist with the implementation of high volume marketing campaigns and projects.

The AA performs administrative tasks to include reception, word processing, handling mail, office equipment maintenance, ordering supplies, making international and domestic travel arrangements and processing invoices. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high volume environment.


High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related area a plus

1+ years of experience in an administrative support role

Demonstrated proficiency in office management software, especially MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Proficiency in database management and mail merges essential

Effective communication skills (developing correspondence, presentations) and interaction / interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently, handle confidential matters, prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines with superb attention to detail.
