Reporting to the Assistant Dean, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Office of Student Affairs. The Administrative Assistant works together with the Program Coordinator in coordinating the day to day operations of the Office, including answering and directing phone calls, greeting guests and responding to inquiries. The Administrative Assistant will provide assistance as needed to the Office and its staff to ensure the smooth work-flow of the entire office. Responsibilities: 1. Provides administrative support to all officers in the department. This includes, but is not limited to, handling incoming calls, correspondence, in-person traffic, office mail, photocopying, departmental filing, data entry, etc. 2. Warmly greets guest and inquires about the nature of the visit. This includes extensive knowledge of department working to determining the appropriate response or referring the question to the relevant officer when necessary. 3. Communicates business school and office policies effectively and empathically. 4. Provides correspondence to students and alumni who request various documents and policy clarifications. 5. Supports the implementation of office sponsored events and programs such as final exams, graduation and orientation. 6. Coordinates and schedules meetings, conferences, and seminars on behalf of the department. 7. Conduct special projects/tasks as assigned by the Dean of Students or other staff
Minimum Qualifications for Grade Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant
High School Diploma or its equivalent required. Minimum of two years related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience required. Some college preferred.

Computer proficiency in word processing, database management and work with spreadsheets essential. Demonstrated excellent customer service required. Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills needed.
