Job Summary/Basic Function: Provides administrative and clerical support to the Office of the Registrar; enables the efficient workflow of incoming documents; answers phones, greets and assists walk-ins, resolves issues/concerns and provides appropriate referrals. Orders supplies, logs and stamps incoming mail; ensures appropriate coverage of the reception area. Assists with maintenance of student records and document processing, including but limited to registration, advisement forms, applications for readmission, course substitution forms, applications for graduation, and legal tender as payment for services. Explains university policy and procedures regarding registration, graduation, grades, and other enrollment issues; performs other related duties as required. Work includes some evenings and weekends during special programs and peak periods. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, competitive benefits program.
Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and one year of previous administrative experience; Bachelor's degree preferred. Other combinations of education and experience will be considered. Background and /or credit check may be required.
