Note: This is an Temporary position, without a set end date at this time. There is no guarantee of a full-time position at the end of this assignment, and you will be paid via our temporary agency partner.
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the SVP & General Manager, NBC Sports Group Digital.
Responsible for professionally answering phones, preparing all correspondence and coordinating calendars, including meetings and appointments
Handle and coordinate confidential information with detail and due care
Prepare expense reports, presentations and order supplies as needed.
Coordinate travel arrangements
Assist when appropriate in preparation and drafting of documents and presentations
Provide personal assistance on various projects and activities
Process departmental invoices and coordinate payments with accounts payable department
Additional duties as assigned
2 or more years administrative and general office experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Excellent communication and follow-up skills needed
Must be a team player
Ability to handle confidential information and interact with high-level executives a must
Solid writing and organization skills
Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Must be willing and able to work in both New York City and Stamford, CT
Willing to work in a temporary position, working full-time hours
Must submit to a background investigation
An interest and passion for sports and the digital landscape is preferred
Ideal candidate will be comfortable with and experienced working with high-level executives, internal clients, NBCU staff, and external clients across a variety of geographies
Able to understand how to prioritize requests, get up to speed with the business landscape quickly, and anticipate needs of the executive
