To provide administrative support for Hilton Direct Sales Personnel with the objective to allow sales personnel more time to focus on closing business and increasing overall revenues. Duties include but not limited to – entering/sending leads to hotels, organization of returned property responses, telephone or email follow up with hotel or customer to verify status of lead, assistance with preparation, distribution and updates of meeting space only leads, update data in the sales system on lead status/follow up as well as handling incoming telephone calls to provide customer assistance and/or follow up based upon specific needs/requests.

What will I be doing?
Enter and send leads to hotel(s) as requested by Hilton Direct sales team.
Update database information in Global SFA as it pertains to SPR(s) hit lists, lead updates and status including but not limited to decisions, decision due dates, rates and lead status
Organize, prepare and categorize property responses. Prepare in grid format as effective means of communicating all availability and rate information to customer
Contact property for status updates on outstanding leads as needed by SPR(s) after they have exhausted all resources, via phone or email. Accurately update information in Global SFA database
Assist with preparation, distribution and database updates of meeting space only leads, 9 peak room nights and less as needed by SPR(s)
Coordinates and completes special projects as requested/assigned.
Promptly answer telephone calls, greet callers with a positive and clear voice; listen to employees, customers and vendors to understand inquiries and requests. May also be required to proactively solicit additional information in order to properly communicate and handle related messages back to Hilton Direct sales team members.
Responsible for submitting daily, weekly and monthly activity reports relating to work orders completed and other related activities.
Supports the department on various projects and targeted initiatives as assigned by Managing Director or Hilton Direct Management Team.

Minimum of two (2) years experience in Administrative or Office support of multiple individuals.
High proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word.
High proficiency in Database Management and Data Entry
Education and experience equivalent to graduation from college or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides required knowledge, skills and abilities of the Hotel/hospitality group sales and customer service.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
