Responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to senior management. Coordinate interdepartmental activities in the absence of the assigned manager to support the smooth operation of the system or department. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION Contribute to the Company vision of being the industry leader in customer service through quality, commitment, courtesy and teamwork Coordinate travel arrangements for department heads Prepare and coordinate on and off site meetings and events, including hotel arrangements, catering, audio/visual needs, etc. Maintain calendar and appointment scheduling for the assigned manager Prepare and maintain confidential information and correspondence Produce reports, graph and charts Provide administrative and clerical support Process correspondence including memos, reports and proposals with high degree of accuracy and timeliness Copy and distribute correspondence appropriately Maintain accurate files and records Receive incoming telephone calls for senior management Perform liaison function when appropriate Open and distribute mail to senior management staff Verify E-mail transmissions Perform other duties as requested by supervisor PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS A. Skills/Abilities and Knowledge Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information Ability to prioritize and organize effectively Ability to reach with hands and arms, to bend, to talk and hear, and to read and use a computer Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner Ability to type with speed and accuracy Ability to use 10-key adding machine Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc) Ability to use, handle, and manipulate objects such as paper, pencils, keyboards, and mouse Ability to work independently Ability to work while seated for prolonged periods of time Knowledge and ability to use the following office equipment computer, telephone, copier, fax, calculator, and stapler Knowledge of basic mathematics Knowledge of cable television products and services Knowledge of general office procedures Vision ability close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus B. Education (level and type) High School Diploma or equivalent College course work in Business or related field or equivalent work experience C. Related Work Experience Number Of Years Administrative/Secretarial work experience 3 D. Certifications and/or Licenses Valid drivers, satisfactory driving record within Company required standards, and auto insurance Notary Public WORKING CONDITIONS Office environment Exposure to moderate noise levels
