Requires a high school graduation or GED and four years of experience performing a variety of complex office support or database inquiries/searches which included opportunities for functioning as a project coordinator, team leader or lead worker. Additional education with major coursework in an office support, business, or office education field may substitute for up to two years of the work experience requirement on a year-for-year basis. The successful candidate must possess strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to work quickly yet attend to detail, the ability to exercise investigatory judgment, and the ability to accurately document results.
Preference will be given to applicants with supervisory or child support enforcement experience.

Summary of Work:
This position is the Administrative Assistant/Office Manager for the Devils Lake Regional Child Support Enforcement office. This position:
Is the primary contact for ND Work Management System issues, Central Duplicating and Central Supply, NDPERS information, records management maintenance, ordering of supplies and the preparation of vouchers for monthly bills;
Provide administrative support to the regional administrator and lead worker and maintain staff data information as directed.
Supervise, orient and train support staff, complete performance evaluations, assess quality of work and address deficiencies, make recommendations for development and implementation of policies and procedures for daily operation of the regional office;
Assist with orientation for newly hired regional child support enforcement unit workers;
Assure consistent coverage for reception area by monitoring staff schedules and providing back up coverage as needed;
Assist regional administrator with the facilitation of job announcements and scheduling of interviews;
