Position Summary:
We are looking for a tech savvy, creative problem solver with a passion for contribution and quality to join our team. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and project support for multiple technology department team members and initiatives. This position is self-directed and requires managing multiple priorities.

Position Accountabilities:
Assist with problem solving, project planning, development and execution of stated team goals and objectives

Coordinate project and support for key strategic initiatives

Compile, review, and manage exceptions to monthly financial reports

Coordinate semi-annual performance reviews

Monitor and report on monthly project performance appraisals

Serve as a liaison with other work groups within the Team to resolve day-to-day administrative and operational issues

Proactively coordinate and communicate with all levels within the organization

Assist Partners and IT leadership team with various administrative duties including:

Attend project, leadership and team meetings and prepare minutes

Draft, edit and format technical documentation, correspondence, presentations and emails

Coordinate meeting logistics: Calendar invitations, arrange/reserve conference rooms, including needed equipment, conference calls, meetings breakfast/lunches/coffee, etc.

Make miscellaneous team reservations (travel, lunch, dinner, etc.)

Handle miscellaneous client phone calls, making sure appropriate staff are involved

Proofread correspondence prepared by self or others

Assist other administrative assistants, as necessary; provide backup as needed

Perform first level of project analysis as needed

Update electronic files, charts and binders with appropriate information

Coordinate and document network policy, procedures, and standards

Other duties as assigned

HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.

BA, BS highly preferred

At least 4+ years secretarial/administrative experience, preferably in a professional services environment

MS Office experience required (MOS certified a plus); experience with Visio and Microsoft Project highly preferred

Ability to work overtime if required

Person in position needs to move about the inside of the office to access machinery, cabinets, etc.

Person in position frequently communicates with staff who have inquires. Must be able to exchange information in these situations

Superior attention to detail and conscientious quality of work product

Ability to work well with others

Outstanding time management and organization skill

Solid technical proficiency including knowledge of MS Office applications (particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook), Visio and Microsoft Project

Strong ability to proofread and edit written material for sense, order and the correct use of grammar and punctuation

Superior data entry and alpha/numeric skills

Travel & Hours

This is an non-exempt position that may require some Saturday work hours and overtime during workweek.

Qualified individuals must either reside in or near the Metro Detroit area or be willing to relocate to the area for this opportunity.

LIMITED travel is required with this position.
