AHF is searching for a Full-Time Administrative Assistant to support the Director of the Public Health Division. The salary for this position is $15-$17/hr depending on experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Reads and routes incoming mail. Locates and attaches appropriate file to correspondence to be answered by employer.
Composes and types routine correspondence and assists in the formatting and editing of policy papers and other external documents.
Organizes and maintains file system, and files correspondence and other records.
Answers and screens Director's telephone calls, and arranges conference calls.
Coordinates Director's schedule and makes appointments.
Greets scheduled visitors and conducts to appropriate area or person.
Arranges and coordinates travel schedules and reservations.
Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, reserves and prepares facilities, and records and transcribes minutes of meetings.
Makes copies of correspondence or other printed materials.
Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes.
Orders and maintains supplies for Director.
Prepares records such as agendas, notices, minutes and meetings.
Screens incoming calls and correspondence.
Participation in AHF Meetings/Committees as directed

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school required, Bachelor's Degree preferred; and/or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer/Software Skills & Abilities
Word processing and database skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office including, Powerpoint and Outlook required.
