Administrative Support Role

This position will be located in Somewhere, USA.

Position Summary:
[Enter Hospice Agency Name Here] is seeking a compassionate, emotionally mature professional to support the Administration of the agency in the accomplishment of critical operational and strategic goals by assuring effective communication and implementation of assigned tasks. Independently accomplishes functions as they relate to each management area as assigned. Supports all activities of the organization as directed by the administrative manager. This competent and experienced health care professional should exhibit behaviors of accountability, flexibility, respect, and collaboration to help [Enter Hospice Agency Name Here] fulfill its common purpose of creating a compassionate circle of support for our patients and families by providing the finest, individualized end-of-life care. All team members are expected to have well developed customer service skills and must demonstrate a commitment to the philosophy of Hospice Care for the terminally ill.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma, with at least two years of college preferred.
Two years of experience in a professional environment while administratively supporting mangers and co-workers with projects, task completion, and follow through.
Must have experience editing written material such as reports, letters, memos and other documents.
Must have experience with operating office machines such as fax, copier and multi-line telephones.
Must have experience with Microsoft office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.
Experience with medical billing is beneficial.
Must display a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality. Familiarity with HIPAA and privacy of information regulations is preferred.
Must be able to work in a team and/or independently.
Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills; ability to comprehend written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
Demonstrated active listening skills.
Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and the minimum state required liability automobile insurance or access to reliable transportation.
