Provides high level administrative assistance to the Vice President, Development – Medical Education and the Vice President, Development and Major Gift Services.
In addition provides back-up support to the other Foundation administrative assistants.
Performs a variety of administrative functions; creates reports from various internal resources; research/develop presentations; receives and directs visitors; screens and transfers callers; provide information to callers; arrange travel accommodations, transportation, and conference registration. Performs a variety of tasks; compose correspondence and minutes; responsible for handling confidential meetings and time sensitive material.
Requires 50-55 wpm typing speed, demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Prefer shorthand or speedwriting skills. Able to create and maintain spreadsheets or databases accurately.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); organization skills. Ability to plan and coordinate meetings, and prepare supporting materials for review by executive management, board leadership and major donor prospects.
