Working in Continuing Education Division, position will: Coordinate development & distribution of promotional materials, maintain databases, fill-in as receptionist, provide event coverage for Fine Arts Center box office, assist with art gallery receptions, and provide general administrative support.
Requires ability to plan, problem-solve, and meet deadlines. Must manage multiple tasks thoroughly and accurately, and prioritize responsibilities.
Need strong English grammar, composition and proofreading skills; requires office and record management ability, skills in keyboarding and ability to use computers. Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, automated office systems, and the internet.
Must work well with co-workers and staff/management, and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Prefer experience with Student Information Systems (SIS).
Prefer at least Associate's degree in business/office management or related; experience in business and/or educational institution, and experience handling multiple priorities.
Some weekend/evening hours required. Part-time (no benefits) position limited to 1500 hours over 12 months, from May 1st - April 30th each year. $10.00-$13.00 per hour, depending on qualifications & experience.
