Canon Solutions America Administrative Assistants are responsible for providing support to department management in the coordination of daily activities, development of complex worksheets and presentations, answering phones and written correspondence. Responsibilities:

As an Administrative Assistant, your primary focus will be to support the management of the department. Organizational skills are a must, as you will be answering busy phones; scheduling and coordinating meetings; responding to associate and customer inquiries; and other clerical responsibilities that includes, but are not limited to faxing, filing, and maintaining office supplies. To be successful in this busy environment, you must be able to prioritize, multi-task, show initiative and utilize good judgment and decision-making skills. The ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity is mandatory since a very large component of the job will be managing our centralized filing system. The position requires a patient and friendly disposition at all times, as you will be the contact point for the department. Flexibility and travel are a must since this is a dual-site position. The candidate’s time will be split between our Midtown and Melville locations.

Qualifications:

Your qualifications must include a minimum of an Associate's degree or 3+ years of administrative experience in a fast paced, detail-oriented working environment. Strong organizational, analytical skills, excellent communication and proven customer service skills are required; computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
