Black River Asset Management, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cargill, is an independently operated asset management company with offices in nine countries. The Investor Relations Admin Assistant is responsible for assisting the investor relations group in meeting the needs of existing and prospective investors.

This person will assist the team in the many and varied aspects of working with investors from preparation for investor meetings, to coordinating investor data management, to providing investors with access to the Black River website.

The incumbent will work with the investor relations team to provide investors with the best customer service possible, while distinguishing Black River among our hedge fund peers.

Principal Accountabilities:
Provide administrative support for the investor relations team to include: making travel arrangements; preparing expense reports; providing roll-over phone coverage; and scheduling meetings.

Coordinate all aspects of investor visits to include: arranging meeting times with investors; scheduling conference rooms; ordering food; preparing and shipping meeting materials; making hotel, restaurant and entertainment reservations.

Create, modify and produce documents such as presentations, marketing materials, and client reports using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Administer and manage access to the Black River website.

Liaison with investors and Cargill IT to assign user ID’s and reset passwords.

Ensure website materials are up-to-date and post new documents when appropriate.

Maintain investor data within the Backstop CRM database.

Enter contact information for new investors, update data for existing investors and help run ad hoc reports.

Maintain investor distribution lists and track offering documents.


Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent

Minimum of 3 years previous administrative experience in a corporate environment

Excellent telephone etiquette and demonstrated ability to deal professionally with investors and co-workers

Strong computer skills

Strong communication skills - both verbal and written

Ability to work well within a collaborative team environment

Strong attention to detail

Self-starter, able to work in a highly dynamic environment with a high degree of independence

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor or Associate degree

Previous investor relations admin support experience
