Description

This position is responsible for the day to day administrative support for the team in Houston which is comprised of employees from multiple business units and functions within the Energy, Transportation and Metals group of businesses. The person in this position will work closely with, and receive direction from, the Office Manager on day to day tasks, activities and projects.

Principal Accountabilities:
Greet visitors and ensure all security procedures are followed.

General administrative support (calendar management, travel arrangements, ordering supplies, etc)

Meeting organization

Other projects as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED

Minimum 3 years of professional business/administrative experience

High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information

Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively; listen to, and understand, information and ideas as presented verbally

Demonstrated ability to work both as a team player and on an independent basis with limited supervision

Self-starter – anticipates needs of the group and takes initiative to deliver quality results

Strong decision-making and problem solving skills

Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, attention to detail and follow up
