The CBU, Atlantic Canada Exploration Team is currently seeking an experienced individual to join their Houston based team as an Office Assistant.

This position is to provide administrative support to the Team Lead for the Atlantic Canada Exploration team. Secondary support is provided to the Exploration Team consisting of 6 Scientist located in Houston, TX.

Position Details:
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

Provide confidential administrative support to the Team Lead and Team.

Protect confidential information.

Coordinate general meeting arrangements (reserve conference rooms, teleconference/web conferencing, prepare agendas and other printed materials as needed).

Coordinate all necessary catering for meetings including room reservations.

Process folder access requests.

Responsible for outlook email distribution lists.

Provide support as needed to the Atlantic Exploration Team.

Provide administrative support of CBU as needed.

Maintain calendar.

Schedule regularly occurring meetings and field visits.

Manage travel arrangements.

Employee anniversary cards / holiday cards.

Support annual PMP submittal process.

Manage TEA Report/Reconciliation.

SAP Timesheet reconciliation

Employee Appreciation event planning (Holiday Celebrations, Employee Retirement, Employee Relocation).

Base Business assigned vehicle - Fleet Scheduler.

Track and schedule monthly meetings with Direct reports and other leadership team members

Accounting / Compliance - G&A maintenance.

Required Qualifications:
3 plus years of administrative experience.

Proficient in MS Office Suite (MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Communicates clearly and concisely with broad spectrum of contact both orally and in writing. This role is a key 'first contact' communications link, often via phone, and including email, with Business customer and external vendors, potential employment candidates and contacts.

Maintains absolute confidentiality in a broad variety of matters.

Responds and follows up in prompt and efficient manner.

Seeks opportunities to provide insight and feedback to managers and team members.

Punctual and dependable.

Ability to prioritize, establish and meet deadlines, often under changing circumstances.

Preferred Qualifications:
Chevron experience.

Relocation Options:
Relocation will not be considered.

International Considerations:
Expatriate assignments /will not be considered.
