Video and Collaboration Group (VCG) is looking for an exceptional individual to join our Business Operations team. VCG is responsible for driving the company's efforts around end-to-end video and collaboration, connected energy and home networking. The organization is comprised of the Collaboration Technology Group (CTG), Emerging Technologies Group (ETG), Home Networking Business Unit, and the Service Provider Video Technology Group (SPVTG).

We are looking for a highly motivated, highly organized, and high-energy administrative assistant (AA). This candidate will support VCG Operations team. The main responsibilities of this AA will be to undertake all administrative requirements, understanding the responsibilities and motivations of team goals and objectives in order to complete tasks on their behalf. The candidate will use discretion in handling details that are highly confidential and sensitive in nature. The work requires initiative and independent judgment. The candidate must be a team player who is proactive, cooperative, collaborative, and flexible, in addition to identifies process improvement opportunities, loves to learn new skills and has a positive mindset. The candidate will must use experience and good judgment to take initiative in facilitating Cisco programs, policies and procedures.

Administrative support duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
 Maintain the schedule of VCG Ops leader
 Arrange and coordinate business travel and adapt quickly to changes in travel plans and requirements
 Plan, coordinate, and execute all types of meetings and events
 Interface with and coordinate activities with other Admin Assistants and Executive Assistants.
 Edit PowerPoint/Excel/Word documents as appropriate
 Develop staff meeting minutes and keeps list of action items
 Research and analyze data within the context of a project, departmental needs, or company direction and makes recommendations for improvements
 Handle multiple tasks, switches priorities and focuses as needed
 Act as the scheduling PM for Business Video Demo Center (BVDC) and Blast Studio
 Track department initiatives and projects, preparations and other confidential matters
 Handle a large volume of incoming communication which includes email, voicemail and telephone calls
 Accurate and timely handling of expense reports
 Schedule interviews, order new hire equipment, new hire space set up
 Partner with Work Place Resources in space management of bldg. 30
 Provide back-up assistance to other administrative support team members as needed.

The ideal candidate must have the following skills:
 Minimum 6+ years experience supporting at the executive level working in an administrative environment and/or AA/BA or equivalent experience.
 2-4 years experience in supporting executives in a fast paced environment preferably within high-tech industry. Thrives in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment
 Must be proactive and solution oriented, looking for ways to add value and assist the team. Customer service-focused with an ability to work collaboratively with others
 Must be highly resourceful
 Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize work with a strong attention to detail.
 Experience in working with confidential information.
 Strong verbal and written communication skills.
 Must demonstrate positive and helpful demeanor.
 Highly skilled with office productivity tools such as Microsoft Office suite, collaboration tools such as WebEx, TelePresence, Jabber etc.

Educational Background Recommended:
5-8 years of related work experience; BA/BS degree desirable
