Essential Functions:
The purpose of this classification is to provide responsible administrative and clerical support for the Collier County Library Headquarters office. Work involves preparing and processing varied administrative documents such as payroll, preparing a variety of operational documents, forms, reports, records and summaries; entering data and retrieving information from department databases; and maintaining automated and manual files. Prepares Library Advisory Board packets, takes minutes at monthly meetings, and completes official minutes. Proficiency with SAP, procedures, maintenance records, timekeeping skills are preferred. Working knowledge of NOVUS and all the other new County systems is desired. May require some weekends. May work circulation desk as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; with additional coursework in business, accounting or secretarial sciences; supplemented by two years of progressively responsible experience performing clerical work; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Fingerprinting may be required.
