The administrative assistant is the backbone of organizational awareness at the golf course. This key position is responsible for maintaining employee records, collecting data for various reports, banking, daily activity report transactions and budgeting. This position requires strong oral and written communication skills and upholding professional interpersonal relationships with all members of the facility and MWR organization.

Actively participates in the management of the activity or organization by performing a wide variety of clerical and administrative support duties. Serves as the central point of contact for matters related to day-to-day operations. Applies knowledge of the organization, its functions and regulations to carryout a wide variety of administrative functions related to the organization and its mission (e.g., personnel, accounting, budget, purchasing, logistics and supply, transportation, security, etc). Exercises independent judgment. Composes operating procedures and sets internal priorities to generate improvements in administrative services. An extensive knowledge of rules, operations, and practices, and judgment in locating and selecting the most appropriate guidelines is required. Performs other duties related to office automation requiring a skill in general office machines, software, and the internet/intranet.

Ability to type 40 words per minute.
Available to work occasional evenings and weekends.
Experience with RecTrac or GolfTrac.
Experience completing Daily Activity Reports or with NAF Accounting and preparing bank deposits.

Conditions of employment:
1. A one-year probationary period may be required upon selection.
