Role Summary:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the EVP Creative Strategy and Research for Universal Pictures in all aspects of market research, media and marketing strategies. This role will also assist in strategy and research projects and handle all administrative duties such as managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling travel arrangements and other duties as assigned.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Assist the EVP in strategy and research projects. Create pitches, summaries and other research as assigned.
  • Help maintain and update all databases used for analytical reports and projects studio-wide. Said documents are used to keep the worldwide marketing messages and tactics in unison to maximize global box office.
  • Manage schedule and coordinate meetings with internal and external parties utilizing multiple calendars, balancing the demands of high-level filmmakers and studio heads, and work with other team assistants to anticipate any problems and conflicts in advance
  • Coordinate travel schedules and arrangements, collect required travel documentation
  • Prepare and process expense reports in accordance with established divisional travel policy guidelines; Ensures the timely processing of expenses utilizing the latest electronic processes for payment to Corporate credit card
  • Maintain proper recordkeeping and filing system for all work
  • Compose and type routine e-mail correspondence
  • Assist other department members as necessary
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

  • Qualifications/Requirements
    Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a media research or planning environment
  • Bachelor's degree (or a High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 3 years of administrative assistant experience)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Excel
  • Knowledge of all basic office equipment required
