As an Administrative Assistant, you will assist the software organizations by coordinating all administrative activities for multiple executive leaders and subsequent staff assuring efficient administrative activities. You will also routinely coordinate multiple priorities, handle tight deadlines, and address last minute requests and revisions.
In this role, you will:
Perform a wide variety of administrative activities that require handling of confidential information and business critical assignments in a professional business manner
Prepare correspondence, invoices, distribution lists and other documents as requested. The AA is responsible for maintaining files, both electronic and hard copy
Conduct research, fax, photocopy and mail
Exhibit a highly professional image to contacts both in person and on the phone
Prepare financial documents, budget, and conduct quality-related administrative tasks
Lead &/or prepare presentation materials such as executive internal and external presentations, strategy presentations, HR presentations, promotional material etc.
Make arrangements for on-site and off-site meetings and office events such as conferences & conference calls both internal and external to GE
Coordinate travel arrangements
Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 1 year of functioning as an Administrative Assistant
Ability and willingness to be flexible/adaptable with work hours

Ability and willingness to work out of an office located in San Ramon, CA
Ability and willingness to travel, as required

Demonstrated ability to use, or learn new software applications (e.g., business objects to access financial data, web-enabling)
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and requests promptly and effectively
Demonstrated ability to be proactive in addressing organizational needs
Working knowledge of various technology tools, e.g. iPhone’s etc.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication
Work well in a global team environment, able to interpret administrative and operating policies and procedures for employees
Expert proficiency in the suite of Microsoft software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and web tools such as Web-ex, etc.
Experience functioning as an Administrative Assistant in a technical / software l environment Solid team skills
Excellent organizational skills
