The RPI Administrative Assistant is responsible for clerical and administrative support for RPI department. Providing high quality customer service, the RPI Administrative Assistant ensures that the administrative needs of the department are met and in compliance with agency policies and procedures. |
Provides clerical support, including data entry, typing, copying, and other responsibilities. Fills out forms, files, and updates logs. Responsible for dispensing mail to recipients. Responsible for documenting accurate updates on recipients in Welligent.
Conducts intakes on new recipients. Updates and maintains files required to input recipient benefits and issue weekly stipends. Performs basic troubleshooting to resolves recipient issues. Assist recipients in obtaining and maintaining stable living arrangements and negotiating rent.
Acts as the liaison to outside agencies. Process checks in the absence of the RPI/Client Services Manager. Performs functions that further the department.
And, other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-2 years or more experience in an administrative role
-Bachelor’s Degree in related field
-Must not be on active parole or probation
-Culturally competent and able to work with a diverse population
-Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word Outlook and internet applications
-Experience working successfully with issues of substance abuse, mental health, criminal background, and other potential barriers to economic self sufficiency

- Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data
- Professionalism, punctuality, flexibility and reliability are imperative
