Individual will act as Administrative Assistant to the Commercial Lending Director. The individual will be principally responsible for using his/her judgment independently, with the general oversight of the Commercial Lending Director, to perform various roles involving information gathering and report preparation. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and managing a variety of new processes, acting as the central information point for tracking and reporting a multitude of activities related to lending and related loan monitoring. The position will also work extensively with the department’s management team to provide support and take on a variety of other responsibilities and initiatives.
Provide the highest level of professionalism and service to internal staff and external customers. Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of commercial lending activities, systems and products. Assist the lending director and other department management by:
Acting as the central tracking point for all new and renewal loan activity
Ensuring requisite changes authorized within each loan approval are processed in the various systems as required
Managing tracking of quarterly Problem Loan Reports and distribution of packets
Assist with planning and budgeting for the department, including monthly updates
Preparing semi-monthly covenant tracking reports for lenders and underwriters; assist Sales Manager by logging all reviews and covenant tests into tickler system
Configuration and distribution of monthly trial balance reports
Act as primary system expert in CRM system (to be selected), managing reporting and oversight and assisting with various sales/prospect solicitation campaigns
Monitor daily bankruptcy filings forwarded by Legal Department
Assist lenders with financial statement request letters and other customer correspondence
Prepare various monthly/weekly tracking reports for management review including CRA reporting, Adverse Action tracking,
RDC limit tracking & Line of Credit revolvement tracking
Handle daily overdraft processing under supervision of Sales Manager
Complete post booking loan audits
Schedule monthly team meetings and other events as necessary
Complete daily rate updates in loan origination system
Monitor system password update requirements
Assist with monitoring for completion of all required staff compliance training
Assist Sales Manager by reviewing lender expense reports for accuracy and completeness and forwarding to Finance for payment
Two years office experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education required.
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
Proficiency with Microsoft office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Must be a self-starter with a high degree of initiative, multi-tasking abilities, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Highly professional in standards, skills, and manner of dealing with others.
Good judgment, ability to accept responsibility and willingness to assume additional duties/projects as they arise.
Unquestionable integrity and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Strong clerical skills: organizational skills, attention to detail, spelling, grammatical and proofreading abilities.
