This position provides leadership and manages office staff for the Section of Pediatric Nephrology and Hypertension. This includes providing direction and leadership for all clerical personnel as well as planning and directing all administrative activities for the section director, physicians, nurse practitioner, and studies coordinator. Position provides administrative support within the section and provides solutions to the clinic when patient concerns arise. This position oversees the day-to-day office operation in the section of Pediatric Nephrology and Hypertension. |
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, implementing staffing changes; design the appropriate workflow for staff; setting section budgets; routing grant proposals; tracking financial performance and developing recommendations on improving the section’s margin.
The ideal candidate will have experience with fellowship programs; excellent communication skills; supervisory skills; excellent PC skills; Healthcare background desired; ability to exercise discretion and tack; ability to prioritize; flexibility; understanding of section, departmental, and university policies and procedures.
Required: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of experience and education at a 2:1 ratio.
