This position will be a team back-up and basically be trained to cover all administrative positions. Regular duties will be established, but detail training will commence immediately. Experience in Payroll and/or Benefits Administration and General Office

1 - Primary back-up – Payroll processing – Data entry to mail distribution

Skills

  • Strong pc skills – Software in use – HR Pyramid
  • Data Entry – keying hours and employee documents (new hires, changes, direct deposit)
  • Customer Service – Communicate with clients for payroll details or direction
  • High organization – Process payroll according to schedule with all required documentation
  • High Volume – Process a large volume of payrolls each day
  • Reliable – All functions must be followed through to completion
  • Motivated – Must follow through process as required without being directed
2 - Primary back-up – Payroll tax processing – daily posting and payment, quarterly filing of 940, 941 and State employment related returns using an automated and integrated system

3 - Primary back-up – A/P processing

4 – Primary back-up – Benefit Administration

  • Data Entry – Enter benefit renewals and updates
  • Reconciling health insurance accounts and monthly paying insurance invoices
  • Customer Service - Communicate with clients, carriers and agents
  • High organization – Maintain excellent records and follow up notes
