Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Processing and performing Division of Nursing check requests
  • Processing and performing budget adjustment requests
  • Monitoring Division of Nursing budget transactions to identify potential problems
  • Monitoring and reconciling large division budget
  • Maintenance of Division of Nursing bookkeeping records
  • Design, manage and update the Division of Nursing Section of the Molloy College website - ensuring that pages are attractive and informative and that content is correct and up to date using content management software per direction of Dean and Associate Deans
  • Performing general office duties, including calling, typing, photocopying, e-mailing, and data entry. In addition, answering over-flow telephone calls
  • Serving as the primary back-up for Administrative Assistants performing a variety of routine administrative tasks; maintaining office files. when requested
  • Generating reports, conducting research, compiling data and preparing reports required by the faculty or staff
  • Providing any other administrative support required by the faculty and staff
  • Handling multiple and varying administrative duties, as assigned, to support the Nursing Division
  • Coordinate responsibilities related to course assignments
  • Attend meetings as needed
  • Work nights or weekends in accordance with planned divisional events
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions

Desired Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree
  • Computer skills in Word, Power Point, Access and Excel
  • Two to Three years experience directly related to the duties specified
  • Pleasant disposition with a desire to work in team-based environment
  • Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of accounting principles
