We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. To qualify you must have five years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience including experience with overseeing office activities and administering budgets plus proficiency with Microsoft Office software. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support for the Director(s) to include prioritizing the schedule/calendar, making travel arrangements; screening and handling telephone communications; evaluating incoming and outgoing correspondence and preparing responses; performing research and analysis on specific issues; composing and preparing a variety of reports, charts, written documentation and correspondence for the Director(s) and other members of the Office of the CIO; serving as a primary point of direct contact and liaison with other offices, individuals, and external institutions and agencies; organizing and facilitating meetings, conferences and other special events; assisting with project development and planning; gathering, entering, and/or updating data to maintain departmental records and databases; establishing and maintaining files and records for the office; coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day management of supplies, equipment and facilities; plus all related job functions. Excellent communication skills are essential.
Previous experience administering office operations in a healthcare setting and knowledge of computer systems and medical terminology preferred.
