Part time temporary position (approximately
20-24 hours per week) that performs a variety of administrative functions to
provide support at our clients site in upper northwest Las Vegas. Position relies
on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Performs administrative and clerical tasks using word processing, spreadsheets, database management, graphics (charts), and communications software Responsible for maintaining files and filing system Assists staff by answering telephone and taking accurate messages Participates in staff meetings Assists with procurement of materials and equipment Prepares correspondence, forms, reports and other documents from rough drafts provided; ensures proper spelling, grammar, format and arrangement of material Creates presentations Applies general accounting / bookkeeping skills in reconciliation tasks Performs data entry at 60 wpm and uses 10-key Researches internet Handles multiple projects Performs data entry, copying, filing and general administrative support functions Assists with a variety of activities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
High School Diploma with 3-5 years experience.
Knowledge and general familiarity of the Federal government processes and procedures. Knowledge of general accounting/bookkeeping principles. Ability to work with and coordinate between various and diverse groups. Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Reader email, SharePoint and internet use.

The successful candidate will also be able to pass background screening prior to employment.
US Citizenship or work-authorization with alien registration number required.
