Sodexo is seeking an Administrative Assistant for a 180 bed acute care hospital account located in Cooperstown, NY . In this role, you will provide general secretarial/administrative support to General Manager for the Food and Nutrition Department. Responsibilities will include: working with the unit financials doing input and transmittals, file maintenance, cash handling, invoicing and billing, weekly and month end reporting, direct customer interaction and working on special projects as assigned.
The successful candidate will have at least 1-2 years secretarial/administrative assistant experience, computer literacy, ability to multi-task and work independently as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Under direct supervision, provides general secretarial and administrative support to a department or group of professionals. Work is typically straightforward and administrative or clerical in nature. Compiles and analyzes basic information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials; prepares charts, graphs, or tables as necessary. Types letters, memos, reports and other types of correspondence. Organizes and maintains files and records. Arranges and schedules interviews, meetings and appointments.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
