The University of Virginia's College at Wise invites applications for an Administrative Assistant in the Office of Financial Aid. This position will be the first point of contact for visitors in the Office of Financial Aid. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting visitors; overseeing the student award letter process; reconciling the office, wage and scholarship budgets; managing the purchasing responsibilities for the office; and maintaining databases for the office.
A high school diploma with at least one year administrative experience in a professional office setting is required, as well as the ability to work with potential students, students and parents in a professional manner. The successful candidate must have the ability to problem solve and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
