Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced Administrative Assistants to support a client in our Federal Practice area. Each Administrative Assistant shall be responsible for providing general office research and administrative support including:

Preparing documents for internal and external distribution using MS Word and MS PowerPoint
Managing record and non-record material in accordance with approved procedures
Managing Executive calendars in MS Outlook
Assisting with meeting planning including identifying meeting space, managing attendees RSVPs, assembling meeting materials and reports
Compiling data for statistical reports
Ensuring office materials and supplies are ordered and distributed as required
Sorting and distributing office mail
Receiving external visitors and directing them to the appropriate agency point of contacts
Providing assistance as needed with special projects and assignments
Arranging travel for Federal personnel
Providing phone support for incoming and outgoing calls
Coordinate IT, printer, photocopier, scanner, and facsimile technical support and arrange repairs

Position Requirements

High School Diploma required, Associates degree preferred
A minimum of 2 years of Administrative Support Experience
Demonstrable knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Outlook proficiency
Ability to work effectively within a group or independently
Ability to communicate effectively both in orally and in writing
Functional knowledge of contemporary office machines (i.e. photocopier, facsimile machines, and scanners)

Additional Requirements

Ability to obtain a Federal clearance
U.S. Citizenship
