Thresholds’ is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide general office support including but not limited to answering phones, responding to regularly occurring requests for information, ordering supplies, filing, distributing mail, scheduling and organizing meetings, creating and editing correspondence as well as performing basic accounting functions including the maintenance of the departments finances which includes working on monthly budgets and maintaining member’s representative accounts using Quickbooks accounting software.
High Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Must have knowledge of secretarial, office administrative procedures, and knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment, at a level generally acquired through 3+ years related experience.
Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, QuickBooks and the Internet.
Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Positions continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
Some analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work.
Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities meeting deadlines.
